See the people who almost bought

Every basket, every visit and every step toward checkout, read as one timeline per visitor.

Baskets & journeys explainer

Read the transcript

Running our own research peptide store, we could see every order. What we couldn't see were the people who almost bought. So we built My-Pepts to show them.

First, where they came from. Every visit is tagged with its source: Google Ads, an affiliate code, a campaign, search, a referral, or direct. A Google Ads click resolves to its campaign, its keyword, and the likely search term. And the live visitors list fills in as people arrive.

Second, what they did. Every basket keeps its history of adds and removals, and its state: active, abandoned after a day, or converted. Each visitor's trail reads like a timeline: landed, viewed a product, added to basket, checked out, paid.

Third, where they stopped. A checkout funnel shows which step loses the most baskets, and each basket shows where it stopped.

Privacy is built in. IP addresses are never stored, old records are deleted on a schedule, and nobody gets a reminder email they never agreed to.

Now you can see which searches bring buyers, not just clicks. Start your store at my-pepts.com.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Every visit says where it came from

One rule names the source of each visit: Google Ads, an affiliate code, a campaign, search, a referral or direct. A Google Ads click is resolved to its campaign and keyword, with the likely search term from that keyword's report for the day.

  2. Step 2: Watch visitors arrive

The visitors list is live. New visits appear at the top as they land, each with the city, the device, the source and the page it opened on.

  3. Step 3: Every basket keeps its history

Each add and removal is kept in order, with the time it happened. A basket reads as active, abandoned after a day without changes, or converted once an order follows.

  4. Step 4: One trail per visitor

Pages viewed, basket changes, checkout steps and the order's dates fold into one timeline. A pause of more than half an hour shows as a break, so a visitor who came back two days later reads that way.

  5. Step 5: See where checkout stopped

The checkout funnel counts baskets at every step from the first add to paid, and marks the step that loses the most. Each basket shows the step where it stopped.

  6. Step 6: Privacy built in

IP addresses are never stored. Old baskets, their history and visits nothing came of are deleted on a fixed schedule, and nobody gets a reminder email they never agreed to.

What it does

  • The search term, read honestly

Google reports search terms per keyword and day, not per click. When the keyword had one term that day it is shown outright; when it had several, the likeliest is shown with the rest listed beside it.

  • Device and place for every visit

Browser, system, phone or desktop, screen size, language, and the city and country, all from the visit's first page. Bots are left out, so the list counts people.

  • The trail wherever you need it

The same timeline sits on the basket page, on an order's Journey tab and on a customer's Journeys tab, so a question about an order starts from how that customer found you.

  • Counted by the day

Baskets and visitors use the orders list's windows: today, yesterday, the last seven days or your own dates. The last window you picked is the one each page opens on.
